I bought this cup to go with my cast Iron teapot. The weight it has is perfect and is very comfortable to hold. The cup doesn't get very hot when I poured the tea into it which is what I was worried about. Mind you i let the teapot sit for a minute or two after seeping my tea, at the most it was a little warm but nothing that made me want to put the cup down right away. The design on it is great looks just like the picture. The color on the cup however didn't match my tea pot which was expected but either way it is a very nice cup and I'm considering buying more to finish a set.
