This tiny tin packs great flavor. I'm a huge fan of the loose leaf version and enjoy a hot cuppa every day. Now I get to enjoy a cold drink with my lunch. The measuring "spoon" was a nice (and convenient) surprise. Our office provides little 8-oz bottled waters, so I take sip out of one of those to make room for the tea and some sweetener and enjoy!

This a great green tea. A Koren woman introduced me to this tea years ago. It very good after a meal to help with digestion. I even have friends in France drinking this tea.

This reminds me of breakfast cereal, and is one of my favorite work teas. I set up my tea pot and drink it through out my day. Warm and somewhat earthy, it isn't bitter unless overly steeped or steeped in water that is too hot. I could drink this most every day.

it is subtle. you may like your genmaicha more powerful. J

This tea was nothing like the Genmaicha I have purchased and drank before. Too much rice and not make with Sencha green tea. I should have bought a sample size first before I bought a pound. I am drinking it , but it is not what I was looking for or expected.

I've purchased this tea "Genmaicha" from several different stores (usually $12.00 for 2 oz); where here you can get a 1 lb for $20.98 (and the quality of the tea is the same). Needless to say; I only buy my tea from Enjoying Tea now. I have a cup of this tea almost every day, and I'm completely satisfied with the quality and flavor. So far in the last year - I've purchased 4 lbs, and will be buying more. Thank you.

Good, It does not seem to have that bitter taste that a lot of teas have. The sample cost too much , because of the postage.

I found this tea, my favorite, to be almost as close as the one I use to be able to buy in New Mexico. The price point was right on line, as well. I have paid more at speciality tea shops and the flavor was not near as satisfying as your brand. Thanks to you, I now know where I can order it!

Besides gyokuro, that is. This tea has such a wonderfully unusual flavor. I just love it.

I Love Genmaicha Brown Rice Tea. The aroma is wonderful and the taste delightful.

I expected the roaster rice in the tea, because I can see it clearly on the item illustration. What I didn't expect was miniature popped corn. Yes, you heard me correctly. It is even in the picture, but it is easy to miss because only one piece is shown. Anyway, as I opened this tea I noticed right away by the smell that it would taste different. I was definitely right, and cannot compare the flavor to any other tea I've had before. This was a real treat. The rice and popped corn add a lot of flavor to the green tea. The color is also very nice, a pale yellow. One thing that I noticed is that the rice/popped corn see to cut down on the bitterness a bit. I enjoyed this tea with and without sugar. If you like green tea, and also want to try new/different flavors this one won't disappoint.

This tea is extremely fresh and excellent, especially with a bit of lemon, hot or cold!

This tea taste really good. The only thing about it is that it needs to be filter before drinking because of all the tea leafs. But it has a very soothing and calm effect to the taste.

I have been searching for a great tasting brown rice green tea. I've searched and bought from many websites until I found enjoying tea website. I tasted a green tea with brown rice and popcorn from a friend's house; she brought the green tea back from Japan. Ever since I tasted that tea, I have been searching for it. I found it here on Enjoying Tea website. First, the delivery was fast; we live here in Germany and it was delivered thru DPO service. When I brewed my first green tea cup, I was so happy; it brought back memories. It's got grains of toasted brown rice and it's so good. Not bitter like the other tea that I have tried. I first ordered this for my dad, then ordered it for myself. The thought of having popped corn and rice floating around in my tea seemed a little odd to me... But I now know why my dad loves this tea so much. The flavor is yummy!! I can't open it's tin unless I plan on drinking some since it smells so good.

it have a roated flavor. we mixed it other teas,rosebud is one to help with digested system plus it surpress your appitetite. Good price if it taste too bitter add alittle spearmint tea

I adore variety. Teas like this one, that have a unique flavor are tops with me. Sometimes you just want a tea with presence. This is one of those teas (along with lapsang suchong or Russian caravan). My 2 year old daughter keeps mooching the popped rice from my tin though! I need to pop some rice for her so she stops eating all of mine of of this tea. :-) This tea is also great for those on a Macrobiotic diet (as is the Organic Japanese Bancha Twig Tea).

This tea is also good to add to other green teas to make them more palatable. One of my favorite all around teas!
