I'm not a green tea drinker. But my life it is the best green tea that she's tried online.

This is a great green tea. You can even use the leaves for salad.

Very good when brewed correctly

When I first brewed this tea it was very bitter. I then attempted to go for a lower temperature (around 175°) and steeped it for only 35 seconds. It was perfect. The taste was delightfully mellow with a very pleasant aftertaste. Probably some the best green tea I have ever purchased. Make sure you steep with a very fine strainer if you're picky about little pieces of tea floating in your cup.

Very earthy, quality tea
April 9, 2012
I liked this tea, and due write-up, felt it offered the maximum anti-oxidant benefits a green tea could provide (am I a sucker???). Gyokuro yeilded a noticeable yellow liquid, as opposed to clear or light beige liquid, so I saw and tasted the described presence of higher chlorophyl levels. It is very earthy tasting so if you are after a mild taste, it responds well to a mix of something like Mio Jian to tone down the "green" taste.

Review for Organic Japanese Gyokuro
October 13, 2011
This tea is delicious, and has a very mild sweetness to it. Be careful with brew times, as it tends to get bitter quickly. I normally brew it for about 1 minute 30 seconds. One other note, this tea is very fine, and a lot of it will slip through the holes of most non-mesh infusers, so choose your infusion method accordingly.

A Timeless cup
January 20, 2011
I love this tea. It is a beautiful cup with a deep, rich flavor. I have become addicted to Green teas and this is not only very healthy but for anyone who appreciates Green Tea, this one is a must in your tea collection. I have to admit, I have not purchased Enjoying Tea's Gyokuro yet. But, as a self- proclaimed Tea enthusiast and collector, I have tried Teavana's Gyokuro and I love it. The Gyokuro at Teavana is not said to be organic and goes for $20.00 for 2 oz, which is double Enjoying Teas price. I have decided that when my canister is getting low, I will be purchasing Enjoying Tea's Gyokuro!
